Lauren Bernardi is
an employment lawyer and HR advisor who founded the firm in
1995.
Lauren’s focus is on effective human resource management
and the prevention of costly litigation and workplace disputes. She
regularly facilitates Respect in the Workplace training
sessions and conducts workplace investigations.
Professional Background
Since 1992, Lauren has guided her clients in the increasingly complex
area of human resource law. Her expertise has been quoted
in the Toronto Star, Globe & Mail and the National Post and
she has been a guest expert on CBC Radio's Ontario
Today. Lauren has a degree in psychology and received
her law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School.
A prolific writer, Lauren is the author
of a leading book on workplace policies, "Powerful
Employment Policies" (published
by Canada Law Book). She has also written numerous articles
on human resource law for various business publications, acted
as a legal columnist for Canadian Manager magazine for
eight years, and has written for the Canadian HR Reporter and Canadian
Employment Law Today.
Described as an "exceptional speaker who
explains the law in terms everyone can understand", Lauren

Personal Interests
Lauren prides herself on maintaining work/life balance and enjoys
